Jim Young Jim Young is a partner at Animus Films, a production company started in last year. Prior to his post at Animus, Jim was a partner at Diamond Sky, Inc., an organization which produced non-fiction television, live events, and history-based feature films. Recently at Diamond Sky, he produced a live event honoring Sir Arthur C. Clarke at the Playboy Mansion. Jim is also serving as Associate Producer on the documentary, Race to the Moon, which tells the story of the U.S.-Soviet space race in the 1960's. Prior to Diamond Sky, he was a Creative Associate at actor Bill Paxton's American Entertainment Company. Here, Jim worked on the production of the film FRAILTY (Matthew McConaughey), which was released by Lions Gate last April. He also worked on the development of various projects for studios including Universal, Disney, Revolution, Screen Gems, and HBO. Currently, he is serving as an Executive Producer on the sports reality show, DUFF CHALLENGE, for Fox Sports. Jim attended New York University where he majored in Dramatic Literature.
